Magalluf, located on the Mallorca Island, is probably the most favourite holiday destination of the under-30 tourist, who is looking for continuous fun and a raucously good time. Being only about 15 kms from the islands capital Palma, the resort is easily accessible to all. The beach is entirely covered by hotels and provides accommodation in all budgets and sizes. Magalluf with its wide sandy beach and rollicking crowd can be most enjoyed in the peak summer months of June, July and August. However the resort is completely packed with young holidaymakers at this time; but during the off peak season, the place is a lot more calmer, with many of the wilder entertainment venues remaining closed, and hence is a great destination for the families.

When to go

The major resorts on the south and eastern coast are open all year but you will find that the majority of resort in the north close between November and April. Temperatures in the south average in the low 20's Celsius during the winter months but rise to the high 20's during the summer peak season.
